The Verification Group (TVG) was founded in January 1997 by President/CEO Joann
M. Iacaboni, RHIA, CPMSM after sixteen years as Director of Health Information and
Medical Staff Services at River Oaks Hospital, an acute care facility in Jackson
MS, where she was a charter member.
Mrs. Iacaboni realized that, with the trend toward outsourcing and consulting, the
significant resources and staff time required for the labor intensive credentialing
process and the advent of managed care, the services provided by a Credentials
Verification Organization (CVO) were greatly lacking in the State of Mississippi.
TVG became Mississippi's premier CVO.
Our clients include hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, prison facilities, clinics, group practices,
provider networks, Behavioral HealthCare facilities, and Managed Care Organizations
to include PHO's, IPA's, PO's, PPO's. TVG provides verification services to
include physicians, dentists, behavioral healthcare practitioners, and all
independent and dependent Allied Health Practitioners (AHP's). |
