NCQA Certification Process:
NCQA is a voluntary review process, which evaluates a CVO's management of various
aspects of its data collection and verification operation, and the process it uses
to continuously improve the services it provides.
Benefits of using a NCQA Certified CVO include:
- Delegated Credentialing
- Oversight of delegated activities outlined in NCQA Credentialing Standard 12 will be waived for each credentials element for which the delegated CVO has achieved certification
- Elimination of redundant information
- Elimination of significant resources and staff time required for credentialing process
**The National Committee for Quality Assurance is an independent, non-profit organization
that certifies credentials verification organizations and accredits managed care
organizations. |
